MB-70 is a modern system of aluminium windows applied where thermal and acoustic insulation of such architectural elements of external enclosures as various windows, doors, porches, display windows and spatial structures is required.
This system is based on 3-chamber profiles. Structural depth of window profiles is: 70 mm (frame), 79 mm (casement), and for doors 70 mm and 70 mm respectively. Such profile depths assumed for casement and frame profiles give a single-plane impression on the outdoor side after they closing the window and the impression of flush surfaces – in the case of doors. The profile shape allows for slender and robust construction of windows and doors.
MB-70 system structures are characterised by the impressively low value of heat transfer coefficient U due to thermal spacers and seals. This is very important in view
of the increasing requirements in respect of energy efficiency and environmental protection. For the profiles in this system, heat transfer coefficient Uf ranges from 1.5¸2.39 W/m2K, depending on the profile and accessories used. In MB-70 system, are used omega-shape profiled thermal spacers (34-mm-wide in windows and 24-mm-wide in doors) made of glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide. The shape of offered spacers increases the profile stiffness compared to flat ones and facilitates drainage of the sections thus ensuring proper thermal insulation in all weather conditions. The window thermal spacers have an extra sealing between the profile and spacer and also have protrusions dividing the chamber between internal and external aluminium sections into three parts. Tightness is ensured by special EPDM twin-component synthetic rubber (solid and porous) which guarantees ageing-resistance over the long-year usage and very good thermal insulation characteristic. MB-70 is the first system to involve a central seal made of such a material.
The system enables application of glazing units of 21¸57 mm in thickness – in window casements and 12¸48 mm in thickness – in fixed windows and door swings. Such a wide range of thicknesses allows for the use of all typical and non-standard panes.
A wide selection of colours in the standard pallet will satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers. Colour paintwork is made by powder coating or anodic coating.
Windows in MB 70 system are also available in the following versions:
|MB 70US||MB 70HI|
